A Raster Image is more or less equivalent to a newspaper photograph created with lots of small dots. The density of these dots is referred to by resolution, measured in dots per inch (stated as ‘dpi’).
We can let you quickly convert non editable scanned paper drawings/raster images into accurate vector files for editing in any CAD program. As CAD programs can only work with vector files you have to maintain the following process for conversion to vector format.
Our Paper to CAD conversion benefits:
• Use a scanner to create the raster image by scanning the paper drawing
• Apply different types of conversion programs (TracTrix, TraceArt etc.) to convert the raster
image into a vector DXF (Data exchange format)
• Import the DXF file into your CAD program
• Confirm that the resulting file can be modified and edited
We can use the following forms for conversion process:
• 2D to 3D Conversions
• 2D CAD
• 3D CAD
• 3D Animations
• Vector Illustrations
• Flash Animation
• Building Drawings
• Mapping
