At INI WORKSHARE we believe in engineering a promising future.

We provide our clients with a full scope of engineering and professional services specializing in the design and development processes unique to buildings. Our experienced staff recognizes the importance of working closely with our clients, and endeavor to fully understand the specific needs of building projects.

We offer private and public sector clients our experience in each of the major engineering disciplines – mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting. Although specific needs will vary from project to project, our primary role is to provide the design of spaces and facilities that meets the needs of the users while adding value for our clients.
Our building services team can also provide Energy Modelling solutions to analyses environmental performance of a building.
By specifying physical & thermal properties of building components, specifying proposed building systems, and providing geographical information into modelling tools such as eQUEST™ and IES™, we can extract energy usage patterns unique to a design.

Such a simulation can inform the designers about the building performance even during early design stages when a building is taking shape. It also allows the clients to estimate operational costs during a building’s life-cycle which in turn provides basis to investment payback analysis of different building components and engineering systems. Such capability is extremely helpful for clients seeking Green Building Ratings and other statutory energy efficiency compliance.
Embracing innovation, we remain at the forefront of our industry in technological advances and provide progressive industry knowledge for every project. Our designs are focused on the benefits of using less, while enjoying and accomplishing more.

Further to energy modelling, our building services team also offer Daylighting, Shadows and Air-flow simulation using software such as IES™.

By accurately modelling the planes and volumes which comprise the space in question, we are able to produce diagrams such as graphs, contours, velocity vectors etc. This data helps assess the performative characteristic of any design and help optimize solutions based on several criteria. For example, different orientations of a building façade will yield different daylighting inside a typical floor space, and by simulating the same, the designers are able to pick the most optimum situation. Different physical properties/materials can also be tested for a particular set-up and optimized based on cost.

Sustainable design is a responsible, intelligent design that balances economic, social, and environmental values. The above capabilities offer distinctive advantage over conventional methods of design and help save energy as well as cost while not compromising on aesthetics and comfort.

Second to air-conditioning, building lighting greatly contributes to the energy consumption of a building. Our building services team greatly relies on lighting simulation tools such as Dialux™ to optimize artificial lighting.

By accurately modeling the planes and volumes which comprise the space in question, we are able to calculate minimum, maximum and average illumination levels across the space and produce illumination contours.

In order to choose from a number of light sources and luminaires, this tool provides the capability to test layouts and various other parameters to design lighting which conforms to the illumination requirements of a particular space. It also helps check uniform light distribution.
